Officials from Kosovo are visiting Turkey to assess the reforms in the child protection system

A total of 11 child protection professionals from Kosovo are conducting a study visit to high level officials in Ankara to examine the developments in the area of child protection developed through the collaboration between Turkish government and UNICEF Turkey country office. This study visit, organized as part of the increased collaboration among countries through South to South, allows for the sharing of best practices.

The goal of the juvenile justice system study visit is to assess the overall situation in regard to information system management in juvenile justice and the wider child protection system. As a result of the visit, the official aim to develop a short-, medium- and long-term strategy for action to strengthen the system in Kosovo.
